We are delighted to announce we have recently secured two more medical centres within the East Midlands which show we really are the top choice for surgery cleaning in the region.
The two new surgeries join our ever expanding portfolio of medical centres where our expertise and professionalism really shows through. Here at Clean Slate we offer them a huge welcome and we look forward to providing noticeably better cleaning when we get started later this month.
At Clean Slate we have been doing a lot of work in this sector and we are already prepared for the impending new infection control legislation due to come into force in 2013. No wonder so many medical centres are choosing Clean Slate to provide them with noticeably better cleaning for them.

With our constant commitment to improve, Clean Slate is pleased to announce the arrival of two new company vehicles. Clean Slate now has a vehicle dedicated solely to our sales team and we have also replaced one of our existing window cleaning vans.
The old window cleaning van was 7 years old and in line with replacing this with a newer model we have updated the on board hot waterfed pole system so we can continue to provide spotlessly clean windows at a competitive price.
We are currently in the process of revamping our entire fleets liveries to match the new vehicles so keep your eyes peeled for the new designs.

We are pleased to welcome back Helen Wisdom from maternity leave. Helen is our Operations Manager and has been with Clean Slate for more than 7 years.
Helen has returned on a one day a week basis until she returns to her full time hours in November. Helen commented "in the 8 months I have been on maternity leave there has been a huge amount of growth within Clean Slate. It's a very exciting time for me to be returning and I am look forward to moving the Operations department forward even further!"

With our massive continued growth over the last few years we are delighted to announce a number of promotions within Clean Slate.
Linda Lewis has been promoted to Contracts Manager for all of our morning contracts. Linda has been with Clean Slate for nearly 6 years, she originally was employed as a Team Leader on site and quickly moved to an Assistant Manager within the office. Linda is relishing the role as Contracts Managers and said "I'm really enjoying the challenge of my new role and I am really looking forward to getting to know all my customers and team members"
Ian Wisdom has moved into his new role as Sales Manager from Window Cleaner Contracts Manager. Ian has been with us for over 17 years and joins our Sales Department with years of experience in selling our popular window cleaning service to customers. Ian will now be responsible for selling both general cleaning and window cleaning to new customers.
Clair Wood has moved in to the new position of Projects Manager from Contracts Manager of the morning contracts. Clair now joins the senior management team and is working to develop the company by introducing new systems and procedures and with the help of the rest of the team will be constantly pushing Clean Slate forward! Clair said "this new role is my dream job, I am so excited about getting involved with all aspects of the company and raising the profile of Clean Slate across the East Midlands"
This reorganisation was necessary due to our continued high growth and helps us make sure that as we grow, we improve our service to customers to keep us as the number 1 cleaning company in Derby

Due to our continued growth in Leicester we are delighted to announce that we have now opened an office in Millstone Lane, Leicester.
Having a Leicester office will enable us to serve our ever growing customer base in Leicester even better as we will be able to react much faster to our customer needs in the area.
Mike Armitage managing director said 'this is now our third Clean Slate office and is in line with our business plan to provide noticeably better cleaning across the east midlands region.'
Our head office remains in Derby but we now have offices in Nottingham and Leicester too.

Congratulations to Linda, Helen, Clair, Angela, Michelle, Justine and Claudia who successfully ran (and walked) 5km in aid of Cancer Research. We are pleased to confirm a £20,000 investment in new IT infrastructure with our ICT partner, Grade Computer Solutions of Derby. This will ensure we can continue to improve our service as we grow. Our old & trusty server has coped well as we have increased over the last 5 years from 5 users up to 13 but now it is struggling. The new system will enable easy working from different offices, will integrate with our telephone system for increased efficiency and cope with the next phase of our exciting expansion plans. Good stuff!

Bowmer and Kirkland are nearing completion of the fantastic new JCB training academy facility at Rocester. This superb £22M project includes complely renovating a Grade II listed building and adjoining newbuilds to house up to 540 pupils. The professional cleaning of the windows is essential to ensure a great first impression and this is why Bowmer & Kirkland made Clean Slate their first port of call for this important work.

We are delighted to announce that 2009 has been a record year for Clean Slate - we have grown by 21% during what has been a very challenging economic period.
Over the last 12 months, we have simply tried to carry on doing what we have always done - offer an excellent (and continuously improving) service at a fair price. We are deeply grateful to our loyal customer base for staying with us over this period - and to our fantastic cleaning team for making it so hard for our customers to ever want to leave us!

We are delighted that over the last 3 months, we have had our best ever quarter for winning new work!
We have welcomed 13 new office cleaning customers and 11 new window cleaning customers on board and these customers are now experiencing the higher standards and total reliability that Clean Slate provide!

We are excited to announce our continued expansion into Leicester. This completes a major transition for Clean Slate from being Derby based, into a regional force.
With our first 3 Leicester contracts now experiencing the Clean Slate difference, we look forward to further expansion over the coming months.
We are delighted to announce our office move to cope with our continued expansion.
Our new premises mean that no one has to hot desk any more, we can store more stock than before and we no longer have to rent separate premises for our vehicles.
All in all it was a good time to move - the economic climate meant we had a choice of reasonably priced locations.
